As a Registered Campus Organization, furniture service requests must be made in conjunction a staff member from SEAL. RCOs should know what furniture they would like to request, funding source for how to pay for this service, as well as relevant event details (such as time, location, etc.).

Frequently used external vendors are service providers not owned or operated by the UCSB. As a student leader, you determine the quality of the experience for vendors. Positive, cooperative, and efficient relationships are built on trust and professionalism. When navigating the event planning process, keep your vendors at the forefront of your mind. 

We recommend that before signing any contracts you secure funding and have the contract reviewed by a University Advisor.

Remember, you’re representing the UCSB, so be respectful and responsible.

Canceling your event? 

You will need to contact every vendor with which you made arrangements. Vendors may apply fees if your notification is submitted late.
