Registered Campus Organizations
Student Engagement & Leadership (SEAL) manages an online system for all things involvement called, Shoreline. Shoreline is UCSB’s official co-curricular platform which requires campus credentials. Users are affiliates of UCSB and are students, faculty, or staff. Community members and guests may view a list of our Registered Campus Organizations and contact info (if they have provided it).
Not only does this platform list events hosted by Registered Campus Organizations (RCOs), but campus departments as well. Shoreline is an integral way for you and your peers to get connected on one centralized tool. The platform is a great way to see what the campus has to offer regardless if you are a Santa Barbara local, an out of state student, an international student, etc.. There is an RCO out there for you to find connection and belonging while you are at UCSB. RCOs on campus drive community and your unique perspectives will only add to the rich vibrancy of campus life!
Campus Involvement Fairs
Every quarter Student Engagement & Leadership hosts Campus Involvement Fairs to help students get involved in one of the ~500 Registered Campus Organizations (RCOs). This is a wonderful opportunity to see which organizations are active during each academic year and which ones you may want to join, meet new people, and discover new opportunities! The Campus Involvement Fairs are there for you regardless if you are a new, incoming freshmen; a transfer student; a continuing UCSB student; whether you moved here from down the street, from out of the state, or from across the world. Find your community through involvement in an RCO.
RCOs have their contact information available through their Shoreline page. Make sure to officially "join" the RCO on Shoreline in order for your membership to appear on your official UCSB Co-Curricular Transcript.
